Liam turns two!

Oh Liam,

Will you be two for a whole year?

The past year has flown by, and everyone's lives have changed.

But you have noticed to least. And for that I'm glad.

This next year will be good, I promise. I can already tell.

Your laugh and little grin will be a highlight in each of my days.

I love you to the moon and back moon and back moon and back.

Catch up, again.... sigh....

Well, I'm certainly in major catch-up mode here.....

I've not been taking very many photos lately. For starters, I've been getting used to the all consuming work/school/daycare/work/house/kids/life schedule -- which is tough.... but worth it. I luckily am enjoying working and it's very satisfying in a way that being a stay at home mom wasn't (maybe its just because it's such a change from staying at home for years) but it is also hard to see the kids off everyday.

Then with Mallie in school, Jools preschool, Liam daycare.... just crazy!

Add in a couple bad weeks and that really equals very little photo-ing.

So, I'm playing catch up here. Just some random photos of the past month. I promise (mom!) that I will keep this up more now, having gotten into the swing of things finally.

School Days

We've officially entered the realm of 'School Days'. Bedtime at 8. Up at 6:30.

Lots of scheduling and rules.

Also lots of fun.

And most importantly, she's loving it. Or maybe she just loves the celebratory ice cream....

What I Did on My Summer Vacation

This night is the the first 'school night' in my home. Mallie will enter Kindergarten at precisely 8:50 tomorrow morning. I'd say, that our summer as such is over.

Not only for that reason in and of itself, but many others.

I started the summer being a stay-at-home-mom to three little babes.

I'm ending the summer being (almost) divorced, full time (plus some) working, and having had so many changes under my belt that my head gets dizzy thinking about it.

So, what did I do with my summer vacation? Well, there were late nights catching fireflies. Dinners in the backyard. Lots of pool days. Lots of boat days. Lots of fun, laughing, smiling, and as much happiness as I could squeeze in and muster. The end of this summer is decidedly better than the beginning.

I say bring on Fall.

Just Catching up....
